If you haven’t seen it yet, take a minute and check out our new Fan Project The Collectors Corner! It’s a mod that allows you to easily add all kinds of goodies to your Minecraft world. If you know how to mod Minecraft (adding/changing some settings in the game files), you already know how to add a few items into the game. But if you don’t know how to do that, well, we’re here to help!
As you’ve probably seen on the YouTube videos and Twitter account, we’ve been hard at work, and we’ve created the latest version of The Collectors Corner, version 1.1. I’m going to break this post up into a few sections, so you’ll know what this mod does and why you’d want it.
First, what is it? Well, The Collectors Corner adds a wide variety of useful items and blocks, ranging from weapons to amulets to crafting stations. There’s also potions, foods, potions, transporters, beds, keys, teleporters, doors, and many more.
Now, we’ve added a bunch of things. Weapons, armor, potions, blocks, creatures, items, you name it. And we’ve even added a few things that aren’t blocks or items. That’s right, we’ve added a bunch of items to the mod as well. This has been our whole vision from the beginning, and I think it’s about time we’ve started bringing those dreams to life.
Now, The Collectors Corner is a set of standalone mods, meaning you can add the items you want to Minecraft, without changing anything in the game files. Because of this, we need to add a simple dialogue screen to change what you want and don’t want added. In case you don’t know how to mod Minecraft, just check out some of our video tutorials. You can see them all at the end of this post.
Now, we’ve done this for you, and we’re going to open the first part of the mod and show you what it can do.
We’re starting with the crafting stations, which are a new addition to The Collectors Corner. Crafting stations are just like the crafting posts in the vanilla game. They allow you to 0b46394aab
